I pulled away from Mika and stared at him. He was a 'Gangrel'...whatever that meant....all I knew about them was that he was like the ones from earlier. He wanted me dead, I backed against the door trying to escape into the shadows but his eyes followed me. Mika didn't notice as she was hurrying around her room trying to find something.
"Here it is." She said popping up from under her bed with three cans. She smiled at Embry who slightly smiled back then turned his eyes back on me. She looked up but her face fell into confusion as she saw me in the shadows. "Newborn, what's wrong? Embry won't hurt you, he's a friend. You know what friends are don't you?"
"She's right, I wouldn't hurt a friend." he took a step forward, and I panicked as I scrambled for the doorknob.
"Newborn, what's going on?" she demanded looking at Embry for guidance. I pulled the door open with too much force and ran out of it, I jumped down the stairs and took off down the hallway. "Newborn!" she cried after me.
I was leaving, this was insanity. I was better off in my forest, I was better off still human. Something tackled me, I hit the carpet without a sound and I struggled against the heavy thing on me.
"Calm down." I stopped struggling and stared up at Embry. He panted slightly and his black hair hung over part of his face. His eyes were dark, almost dark as the eclipse I had seen in the forests. "Don't do what you are thinking of doing. I promise not to harm you, I've sworn in my own blood to give up being a Gangrel."
"Embry." came a frightened whisper and Embry looked over his shoulder at Mika. She looked so frightened and tears washed down her cheeks.
"It's fine, Mika. Just summon them and I'll escort Newborn back to your chambers." She nodded then hurried off down the hall as Embry stood us up. He looked at me and seemed to understand that I would not going willingly with him, so he swung me up in his arms and carried me back to her pink bedroom. He set me on the bed and put the can in my hand. "Drink it or you'll be a danger to Mika."
"Why do you care for her? You're one of them." I said, only my lips moved, every other part of me was still in the same stance.
"She is the future, and I'm just trying to make peace." he whispered as he sat in her window seat. He stretched his long legs out and waited for Mika to come. I looked down at the open can in my hands and lifted it to my lips. Before I realized it, the can was empty. And I felt normal. I felt like I was still human. Embry was watching at me and smiled at something on my face.
"Blood, the magic ingrident in every potion." he laughed and I just watched him.

the keepers
I stared blankly as she smiled at me, the two men waited for some reaction...something to change in my face. But they were in for a shock, I finally took a deep breath...and realized something strange.
Mika's heart was still beating in her ribcage, warm sweet blood coursing through her young veins. My hunger rose and I dropped her hand so I could back away from her. She was a human, living in a house of monsters...monsters that could kill her in a second.
"She's human." I whispered as my hunger threatened to break free. Let the animal go free. The monster in me crooned. No, she's just a little girl.
"No, she is a vampire." Caius answered as Vern watched me with gentle eyes. "She's a pure blood vampire. When she makes her first kill..."
"When I drink every drop of a human, then I will change. And so will they, just like what happened to you." Mika finished smiling hugely and grabbing my hand again. "Come on, let's clean you up. You look like a Brujah clan member." she let out a little giggle and tried to pull me with her but Caius put his hand on my shoulder.
"It is unsafe to have her alone with you, Princess. Let her drink first." It felt like my stomach knot and I shook my head quickly.
"Won't....no human blood....not human." I begged and she looked at Vern, who I could only guess was her father. He nodded and she tugged at my hand again.
"Don't worry, Telo and Tela left some of their drink. I think they call it blood light...he was saying it was named after some human beer." She shrugged and continued to tug at me, this time Caius's hand disappeared and I followed after her into the darkness of the halls.
"I hope Caius isn't following, Embry hates going out the window." she murmured almost to herself as she hurried up a flight of stairs, I must have been slowing her down because she frowned back at me. "Hurry, hurry. He won't wait forever."
"Who is he?" My words felt numb to even me but she didn't seem to notice as her eyes lit up. Now she did really look like an angel on Earth.
"Embry." was all she whispered before going to open the door we stopped in front. Her room was bright pink with a large balcony window that was shut and had the blinds shut. In front of it stood a teenage boy, he straightened and stared at me for a moment.
"Embry, this is newborn. Newborn, this is Embry...heir to the Gangrel clan."

he who laughs last
I never fully understood why vampires were different then humans...when I was alive. Now that I am living through all this, I understand it. We don't sleep, we just clear our minds of every thought and shut down all our senses. We even stop breathing too, so if a human were to come across one of us as we 'slept' then it would look like a dead body.
We don't need to eat, but we can. I don't know what happens to the food though. That is still a mystery I may never find the answer to. But we thirst, as much as a person in the desert for the first time. It even causes physical pain, which sucks more than the first Dracula.
I don't know how, or when, but I ended up in the backseat of a car. A very dark tinted car, as I sat up, I noticed that we were moving very fast down the streets of my town. (no offense but it would be better if you don't know where I am with them)
"We are almost there, Caius. Are you sure he will not be upset?" A new voice asked...I took a deep breath and quickly found the sweet scent of Caius in the passenger seat and a new, forest smell from the driver.
"He might, but princess will change his mind. He is a sucker for her."
"Isn't everybody?" they both laughed as I reached for the door handle. The driver cleared his throat and caught my eye in the rear view mirror. My hand pulled quickly back to place it over my still heart. "So she decided to join us. You sure did stay out for a while, I guess putting her in the car must have roused her."
"Yes, the shock must have been too much and it seemed like she fainted after we got away from the Gangrel Clan." the driver was silent as he turned his eyes back to the road. It was all silent as I sat up, it felt weird being in a car after such a long time. The last time I had been in one, I was with him....we were arguing. No, that's the human you. Let the animal take control.
"Home, sweet home." the driver murmured pulling into a garage.
"And just before the sunrise, you are too good, Charlie."
"If I hadn't been out on errands, you two would be stuck in some old abandoned building for the day." Charlie commented opening his door, Caius got out fluently and went to open the door for me. He offered me his hand to help me out but i ignored it and crawled awkwardly from the back seat. "Such a rebel."
I glared at him as he smirked at me, with one pat on the back for Caius, Charlie was gone. Caius went to the door and looked back at me as I stood as a statue.
"Come on, you don't want to stay in the garage all day do you?" I growled at him but followed him into the larger house. It was fantastic, everything so clean, perfect, and expensive. I was staring at the hundreds of paintings lining the walls, I didn't notice the little girl and the older gentleman waiting for us. Till Caius pulled me to a stop.
"My lord." he did a bow at the waist then smiled kindly at the girl. "Princess Mika."
She smiled brightly at us and turned her eyes onto me, before frowning. She looked at the older man and back at me.
"Why is she so frightened?" her voice was like an angel's, only to match her face and the blond curls hanging down past her chin. Caius went to explain but she held her hand up to stop him as she moved closer to me. "Why are you frightened?"
"She had a run in with Gangrel Clan." Caius answered as I remained silent. She glared at him, with the face that said was-I-asking-you. She looked back at me and I nodded.
"Don't worry, we will never let them hurt you." she held her soft, smooth looking hand toward me, and I placed mine in hers. "They can never hurt you, because you're one of us now. Welcome to the Lasombra Clan."

Monsters run and hide
I had hoped the screaming would tip off Caius but he did not run over to be the hero again. Instead they continued to smirk as one ripped me into a standing position by my hair, my eyes wanted to tear up but nothing happened. My chest sobbed uselessly as he held me a few inches off the ground. He was a tall boy, could have been two feet taller than me, his eyes looked glassy in the street lights, like two small milky orbs.
"I can't see the damn thing....but I can sure as hell smell it." He growled to the others and they smirked. There was a furious growl and a quick movement, one of the others that had been standing around the huge one was being held captive around the neck by Caius.
"Release her, or I break his neck." there was no doubt in my mind that he would. I watched the other boy look frantically around for Bryce but he seemed to be nowhere in sight. The large one dropped me, and once again I landed hard on my ass.
"You won't win, you monster." he growled at Caius, as i hurried to back away from him, not bothering to stand up.
"I have no intentions of fighting you, Ben. I have orders too, and I need her alive for that." Caius said releasing the small one he had just held hostage, the big one laughed at that and shook his head.
"This one won't last that long, she is too....human to be like you." he growled and stared off blankly. Caius moved quickly to grab me under the arms, he genlty pulled me to my feet and glared at him.
"A blind pup should have been killed at birth...but you are still alive aren't you, Ben?" Ben's face hardened and the other two glared at Caius. "Goodnight, pups."
"She is not what you expect, she has always been different." a bloody Bryce said appearing at Ben's elbow. Caius pushed me behind himself and smirked at him.
"Then she would be perfect for my family. Give my condolences to Lyun....for having such a pathetic search force." Caius turned and dragged me away. I looked up to see Bryce staring at me with such loss in his eyes, before the eyes went dark as he stepped back into the shadows.

he is different in everyway
It had been forever since that last day there. Since I saw the last sunrise of my life....since I have walked into school like any other student. The forest has been my home, my safe haven, my everything. But still I stayed there to escape, at night I prowled the streets of this quiet town. I had nothing, and I believe I am going insane...I even started missing all the people from my classes.
His heart beat so fast, his eyes catching every movement. His smirk, his laugh, his touch....would have made my heart beat more frantically then a person having a heart attack, if in fact it was still beating at all. He used to be in my class, but I never bothered to learn his name, until after that dark night where he came to find me.
"I know your secret." He stepped from the shadows and smirked again to me. I crouch down into attack mode and he only laughs. "Child you are, so stupid. You could never....not in a billion years dream of beating me."
"What do you want from me?" I growled at him, he straightened and every tiny hint of happiness vanished from his face.
"You are so impatient." He muttered and smiled a very hard smile. "You can hear my heart, your hunger has risen, hasn't it child?"
"What do you want from me?" I demanded again at him. He growled low in his throat and it had me falling over onto my ass. He loomed over me shaking his head, he reached down towards me and I went to scream before a hand flashed out of the darkness to grab his.
"Keep your hands off of my kind, Bryce." A new voice hissed at the boy, every word that came out was dripping venom.
"You are one to speak, Caius." he growled back, yanking his arm back. Another man stepped from the shadows, but I heard no heartbeat, but I smelt such a sweet scent flowing from his skin. "She is on our grounds."
"Has she attacked on your grounds?" Bryce remained quiet and Caius went on. "Then she has no reason to be punished. Now leave her be."
"She can't stay anywhere near here. Her family lives nearby, she is a danger of exposing the night walkers." Bryce growled, both got into each others faces and seemed to have forgot me...I crawled onto my hands and knees and tried to escape into the darkness.
A foot rammed down onto my back and I went onto the ground. I looked up to see three other figures standing around me. Their hearts beat against their ribcages, their breaths panting, and their scents overwhelming.
"Somebody is in the wrong place at the wrong time." one growled at me as they smirked. This time I was able to scream...and by god, I did with every ounce of might in my body.

ha ha ha ha ha
It may sound like I am a rambling idiot, but let's say...what I've gone through has put me through a lot. Mentally and physically.
If I can accept this life I have been dealt. So don't be judgemental...don't call me insane....don't call an idiot. If you can't accept any of this, then that is your funeral. Lord knows what i would do I was somehow pushed off the wagon, maybe I'd take a few people down with me.
Don't mess with the things that walk the night. Don't mess with things you could never understand. You are in above your head, pray you can come up for air.

never
They will hurt you, they will kill you. For being different, for being something more than they are. They will kill you for being better than them. They can never understand, they don't want to understand...they want life to stay the same but they can't even keep the world from falling to peices. They think they can keep us hidden away?
They will push too far and they will never leave us alone. When they push, eventually we will push back...much harder then they could ever push us. Let's say you have something on the edge of a cliff barely on ground...all it needs is one little tap then if falls. When we get pushed then the rationality, the humanity we held onto will fall away and they will face the monsters we really are.
To all those who read this, beware who you push...they just might fall.

beginning again
there is nobody like you in a small town, you used to be the same as them but now everything's changed. You've changed...you know nothing will be the same. You want to run away, you are afraid to stay but afraid to leave.
Something burns it's way through your body, trying to take control. That raw animal instict that was never present before. The need to hurt, the thirst that chokes your rationality from coming up. You have to leave but have nowhere to go, then you think about your things...do they really matter to you anymore than they did in the beginning?
You feel like your in hell, you feel wrong, you don't know what's happening. You've changed and feel alone, but you aren't. We are here, never feel alone. Find us, we will save you, we will protect you...from everything including yourself.
Come to us. We will be waiting.

faint of heart
what happens when there is no hope?
what happens when there is no chance for survival?
what happens when everything you know turns upside down?
what happens when life can never the same?
what happens if you can never be the same?
what happens when there is no chance for survival?
what happens when everything you know turns upside down?
what happens when life can never the same?
what happens if you can never be the same?
Peices of me
Please…tell me even if it is a lie that you don’t hate me…please tell me that everything will be alright…I’m afraid to keep on living like this if nobody is willing to help me…
Please just tell me that I am strong enough to handle it one more day…please tell me that I will be alright…
Please tell me....I am not alone in this world
Please just tell me that I am strong enough to handle it one more day…please tell me that I will be alright…
Please tell me....I am not alone in this world
